In 2020, the DofE launched the Virtual DofE Adventure, moving the experience online in response to the pandemic.
Since its launch, DofE Adventure has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help transform the lives of young people across the UK.
The DofE announcement states:
“We’d like to say a huge thank you to our supporters and sponsors, including RSM, UK Power Networks, St James’s Place and Wilson James, without who DofE Adventure wouldn’t be possible.”
Hannah Turck, Corporate Partnerships Manager at DofE said:
“We wanted to say a massive Thank You for supporting this event with the security that you provided, the work before the event and behind the scenes, and also thank you for the participation and fundraising of your keen adventurers from your Facebook Campus. The event would not have been as successful without your support. It really was a fantastic event – we cannot wait for it to return in the real-life 3D format.”
