Mental Health First Aiders and Listening EARs helpline launch

29th September 2021

Dear colleagues,

As part of our ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of our employees, we are delighted to announce that the Mental Health First Aiders and Listening EARs helpline is now officially available to all team members of Wilson James.

We do live in challenging times and it is important to look out for each other, remembering we are not alone. Therefore, we are here to provide those in need of support with free and confidential helpline. If you would like to talk to someone about your mental health and wellbeing, you can always call 0808 169 4044 and turn to one of our:

Listening EARs (LEs) – trained volunteers who are dedicated to provide you with telephone support during challenging times.

Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) – specially trained to guide and support you in confidence, at times when you or someone you know is experiencing mental health issues.

This information is also available on the WJ Employee Portal and the Corporate Brand Library as a poster.

We are extremely fortunate to have all our colleagues within the business who invested time, effort and resources, and were committed to realising this project. Thank you for your dedication and contribution!

As always, if you have any questions or would like to get further details, please email us at wellbeing@wilsonjames.co.uk.

Kind regards,

John Hannan
Health, Safety and Environment Director
