We take our responsibilities seriously

A longstanding commitment to giving back

Wilson James is committed to being a responsible business and giving back to the communities in which we work.

For us responsibility means:

  • Valuing, engaging and rewarding our diverse employees
  • Giving back to the communities in which we work
  • A firm commitment to reducing our impact on the environment.

We recognise that this is vital to being a successful business. We feel we can achieve so much more for the environment, society and communities by working closely with clients, employees, stakeholders, regulators and suppliers.

Our Priorities: People, Planet & Performance

People

Our people are our priority. As a responsible employer: we are committed to paying fair wages, thorough staff training and a strong focus on wellbeing.

Planet

Environmental protection is integral to our position as a responsible business and we seek to minimise energy, water and paper usage, through design, infrastructure and behaviour.

Performance

Doing the right thing is a feature of all our performance objectives. We track and measure our performance with a focus on responsibility and sustainability.

Award winning CSR in action

We are proud to have recently won the 2019 CSR Initiative of the Year of the Security and Fire Safety Awards.

Stanhope Foundation

Wilson James are inaugural partners of the Stanhope Foundation, launched in 2021. The Foundation aims to improve human potential through the delivery and use of Stanhope’s projects, as well as raising money through various initiatives in order to help Londoners reach their own potential by finding hope and pride through meaningful employment. As Lead Partners, we are pleased to support Stanhope’s initiatives with three charities: Maggie’s, St Mungo’s and The Prince’s Trust, to support those affected by cancer,
the homeless and young people.
